On his way home one evening, he stumbles across a persocom in the form of a beautiful girl with long hair lying against a pile of trash bags, and he carries her home. Upon turning her on, she instantly regards Hideki with adoration. The only word the persocom seems capable of saying is "chi" (ちぃ Chii?), thus he names her Chi. Description

Based on the awarded shoujo manga by Tomoko Ninomiya.

Shinichi Chiaki is the top piano student at his university and an excellent violinist, but Chiaki doesn`t care about playing these instruments as much as he dreams of someday being a conductor. Chiaki, however, has several deeply rooted fears about traveling, and so finds himself "trapped" in Japan. Because he`s trapped, Chiaki starts to question exactly how far he can possibly go in music, especially when he`s passed over again and again for others he thinks are less worthy of musical scholarship and fame.

Recently dumped by his girlfriend for a "sausage" looking fellow, passed over for a chance to go overseas, removed from his star spot in the piano competition because he walked out on his piano instructor, Chiaki is at his limit. This is when he meets Nodame, or Megumi Noda. Nodame is a free &�� if filthy &�� spirit who reminds Chiaki that music can be fun. She reminds him what drew him to be a conductor in the first place and, in learning how to deal with Nodame, Chiaki learns how to deal with others. Chiaki begins to realize what is possible for him, even on the tiny island of Japan.

For Nodame, Chiaki is everything she isn`t. Clean, neat, dedicated, studious and inherently arrogant about his accomplishments and capabilities, Chiaki constantly bullies her into being more serious about life. He sees potential in her and her abilities as a pianist that she doesn`t care about. She loves Chiaki and wants to be with him, but, because she`s not serious about her piano studies nor her personal hygiene, Chiaki denies her affections again and again.

But Chiaki and Nodame complete each other in ways no other can, a musical compliment that neither of them can completely escape entirely. Watching them grow as people and musicians, and even as a couple, is an interesting ride.

JDORAMA: Beautiful Life

I’m glad to introduce to you one of my most loved Japanese drama of all time, Beautiful life. Even now, watching it 5 years later, I can still feel the adrenalin rush in me. The drama has all of the best: script written by Eriko Kitagawa (Long Vacation, Tell me you love me, Beautiful life, Orange Days, … all classic), main male role by Kimura Takuya (considered the best actor of modern Japan), main female role by Tokiwa Takako (elegant, and extremely talented). Beautiful life is the Japanese drama that has the second highest average viewer rating and highest episode rating of all time, a whooping 41.2% for the final episode. Furthermore, it was subbed by Japan-TV, in my opinion the best Japanese fansub group. I’ll let you decide for yourself whether the buzz is true or not, however, it is for me. So far, it is the only J-drama that made me cry (only a bit at the end though, when Takuya cried) T_T...

Aki (Takeuchi Yuko) is a typical OL (office lady), and is waiting for her boyfriend to return from studying architecture abroad. At this point in time however, he shows no sign of coming back. One day, Aki’s friends who are determined to find her a new boyfriend, invite her to watch an ice hockey game. There she sees Halu for the first time.

After the game, Aki and her friends join the players for a party celebrating their victory. Yuko, however, is not so excited to be there. When she leaves the party, she bumps into Halu, who was slightly injured from a fight. They exchange e-mail addresses and part.

The sparks of mutual attraction are ignited in a second encounter between Aki and Halu, arranged with the help of her friends shortly after a party.

Hyodo (Sato Koichi) has come as a replacement for the team’s coach who has been hospitalized. Halu has a lot of respect for the hospitalized coach. Unfortunately, he can’t stand Hyodo’s way of doing things. Bringing with him a lot of coaching experience from overseas, Hyodo criticizes the former coach’s strategies. Whenever Halu and Hyodo see each other, they get into a quarrel; consequently influencing Halu’s behavior during games.

Seeing that his game ended in a brawl, Aki visits Halu to comfort him. But he tells her that she is being too friendly with him.

Aki is hurt, Halu is irritated, and his teammate Hotta (Sakaguchi Kenji) can’t stand seeing Kimura like this…

10-year old Negi Springfield is a wizard-in-training, and needs only to pass one more test in order to become a Master Wizard. Unfortunately, his final task is a bizarre one- to become a English teacher at an all-females boarding school. To make matters worse, Asuna learns that Negi is a wizard,and promises to tell unless he helps her out. Description
Five years after leaving Josai bureau, Kuryu Kohei (Kimura), who has been working in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is transferred to Nijigaura, Yamaguchi (a fictious town, its real name is Nijigahama), a quiet place on the seaside where he arrives precisely when the first murder in eleven years has been committed. Soon, Takita Akihiko (Nakai), the most beloved and influent person of the town, is suspected and Kuryu has to deal with this problem, as the other members are too frightened to take any action.

A SP in which the atmosphere of the renzoku series is kept, even though the cast has been almost entirely replaced. The fact that the story is located in the countryside gives the little bit of originality this episode needed. And it is with great pleasure that we meet again several characters of the renzoku series who make an apparition as guests.

Description :
The story begins with the deaths of ruling party's Fukuoka legislator and his eldest son, his heir apparent, in an accident. It is decided that a by-election will be held, and Kanbayashi Masaichi, the leader of the ruling party, and secretary Miyama Rika conceive the idea of fielding the second son, Asakura Keita, who had been renounced by his father.

After Keita graduated from senior high school, he went on to a university in Nagano because he wanted to live in a place with beautiful stars, and eventually became an elementary school teacher over there. Well-liked by children and satisfied with his beloved star gazing, Keita has no interest in the world of politics. However, at Rika's persuasion and the pressure of his family, he reluctantly decides to announce his candidacy.

Upon returning to Fukuoka, Keita is given a hearty welcome by supporters. The election strategist, Nirasawa Katsutoshi, arrives there. He is guided by the notion "election is the only permitted legal war" and begins Keita's election campaign.
